Nomad is a 1980 jazz-funk album by drummer and bandleader Chico Hamilton, released on Elektra (6E-257). Produced by Wayne Henderson, it was recorded across Kendun Recorders, Total Experience, and Ocean Way studios and mastered at A&M. The session features Kenny Gradney (Little Feat), Nathaniel Phillips, and Augie Johnson among others. A strong late-period Hamilton set balancing groove and composition.
