From a beautifully preserved collection. A majority of records in this collection are in EX to NM condition. We have graded them conservatively here.

Chris Connor's debut EP for Bethlehem Records, recorded 1954 with Ellis Larkins on piano and produced uncreditedly by Creed Taylor. One of the earliest releases on the label, pressed on dark red leaf cluster labels -- a variant of the original BEP-101 issue. Connor's cool, precise phrasing across four standards, including "I Hear Music" and "Why Shouldn't I", established her as a distinct voice in early 50s jazz vocal.
