Product Review:
Nice copy! Sleeve has some wear and tear esp. along top. Photo of Clifford Brown appears to be stuck to rear sleeve or perhaps it is part of the sleeve.
Clifford Brown recorded these sessions in Paris in 1953, capturing the trumpeter alongside Henri Renaud and a French rhythm section. Released on Jazz Vogue in 1976, this UK triple-LP compiles all surviving takes from those dates -- multiple versions of "Conception", "All The Things You Are", and "The Song Is You" among them -- giving a detailed picture of Brown's playing just before his American reputation fully broke.
