Super Arhoolie release in top condition. EX/EX

Black Snake Blues is a 1967 album by Clifton Chenier, the Louisiana-born zydeco and blues accordionist, recorded at Sierra Sound Laboratories in Berkeley and released on Chris Strachwitz's Arhoolie Records. An original US pressing, it captures Chenier moving between Delta blues, zydeco, and Cajun styles, with titles including the opener "Black Snake Blues" and "I Lost My Baby" sung in French.

Expert, honest grading

Used records and CDs are graded when we catalogue them for sale and again before they are sent out. So they should reach you in the condition you expect.

Every used record and CD pro-cleaned

We clean our used vinyl records using a VPI vacuum cleaner. More expensive records are also cleaned ultrasonically. CDs are cleaned gently by hand.

Re-sleeving

We place each used record in a brand new paper or anti-static audiophile inner sleeve. We then place the record and sleeve (separately) into a brand new outer sleeve. Ready to be enjoyed!
