Heroes is the ninth studio album by the Commodores, released in 1980 on Motown. Produced and arranged by the band alongside James Anthony Carmichael, it marks a pronounced gospel and R&B turn, with "Jesus Is Love" and "Mighty Spirit" anchoring the devotional side of the record. "Old-Fashion Love" reached the US R&B top ten. This is a UK first pressing on Motown STMA 8034.
