Cymande's 1972 debut on US label Janus Records, recorded in London by a group of Caribbean-British musicians drawing on funk, soul, reggae, and African rhythms. Produced by John Schroeder, it features "Bra" and "Getting It Back" -- two tracks that have been sampled extensively in hip-hop -- alongside the sprawling 10-minute "Dove". Original US pressing.
