Product Review:
From the Maxi Jazz Collection. BPM stickers on sleeve. Das EFX's breakout 12" — the duo's iggidy-flow style that defined early-90s hip-hop.

Debut single from Brooklyn duo Das EFX, released on EastWest in 1992 off their first album Dead Serious, executive produced by EPMD. "They Want EFX" introduced their rapid-fire, nursery rhyme-inflected flow and sampled James Brown's "Funky Drummer" break. Five versions across the two sides, including the remix, dub, and instrumental. Note: B2 and B3 are misprinted on the label but contain remix versions.

Release ID: 363447

What's in the box?

  • Your tunes

  • pro-cleaned

  • with a new inner sleeve

  • and a new outer sleeve

Expert, honest grading

Used records and CDs are graded when we catalogue them for sale and again before they are sent out. So they should reach you in the condition you expect.

Every used record and CD pro-cleaned

We clean our used vinyl records using a VPI vacuum cleaner. More expensive records are also cleaned ultrasonically. CDs are cleaned gently by hand.

Re-sleeving

We place each used record in a brand new paper or anti-static audiophile inner sleeve. We then place the record and sleeve (separately) into a brand new outer sleeve. Ready to be enjoyed!
