Sing Along With Basie paired Lambert, Hendricks & Ross with the Count Basie Orchestra for a 1958 New York session produced by Teddy Reig. This Swedish Sonet EP from 1959 pulls four tracks from that album, including "Shorty George" and "Every Tub" -- both Kansas City swing staples given the vocalese treatment. A neat 45RPM slice of a notable vocal-jazz collaboration.
