David Lasley was a session vocalist and songwriter who sang backup for Bette Midler and Chaka Khan before releasing solo material in the early 1980s. This UK 12" on EMI America pairs the disco-funk single "Saved By Love" with the B-side "Oh", both produced by Don Was of Was (Not Was) -- an unusual credit for 1984 that gives the release a distinctive edge.
