Déjà were a Minneapolis duo -- Curt Jones and Starleana Young -- signed to 10 Records for this 1987 UK release. Produced by Monte Moir of The Time, "Serious" is a slick boogie-meets-garage house cut that crossed over on both sides of the Atlantic, with the extended mix running over seven minutes. The B-side "You And Me Tonight" adds extra value to this original UK pressing on TEN T 132.
