Derrick Morgan was a foundational figure in Jamaican ska, recording prolifically from the late 1950s onward. This 2012 Reggae Retro Records compilation collects 14 mono recordings from 1960--1966, self-produced by Morgan and pressed in a limited edition of 300 copies. It covers his early Studio One-era output before rocksteady reshaped the sound.
