"Israelites" was Desmond Dekker & The Aces' international breakthrough, released on Pyramid in 1968 and produced by Leslie Kong. It reached number one in the UK and top ten in the US, making it one of the earliest reggae singles to cross over globally. This original UK pressing on Pyramid PYR 6058 was pressed by EMI. The B-side is "The Man."
