Communiqué is the second album by Dire Straits, released June 1979 on Vertigo. Recorded at Compass Point Studio in Nassau and mixed at Muscle Shoals Sound in Alabama, it was produced by Jerry Wexler and Barry Beckett. This is a 1979 UK first pressing on Vertigo (9102 031). Singles "Lady Writer" and "Where Do You Think You're Going?" both charted in the UK.
