Divine Force were a Harlem rap duo active in the mid-to-late 1980s. This 1988 twelve-inch on their own Yamak-ka imprint features two tracks across six cuts including instrumental and Hype-Dub mixes of both. Production from Dice Sound. "My Uptown Beat" draws on classic uptown New York rap production, while "Ain't We Funky Now" leans harder into the funk side of late-80s hip-hop.
