Free Fall is the debut album by the Dixie Dregs, originally released in 1977 on Capricorn Records and reissued here on Polydor CD. Produced by Stewart Levine, the Atlanta-based fusion group blend rock guitar and jazz-influenced arrangements across tracks like Cruise Control and Refried Funky Chicken. Steve Morse's guitar work across the album helped establish the band's reputation in the US jazz-rock scene.
