Birks Works is a UK 7" EP by the Dizzy Gillespie Big Band, released on Columbia (SEB 10096), featuring four tracks including a big band reading of "Autumn Leaves" and "Over The Rainbow." "Birks Works" -- Gillespie's nickname was "Birks" -- refers to his compositional style. The A-side opens with "Left-Hand Corner," an original, alongside the Arlen standard.
