Dizzy Gillespie And His Orchestra is a four-track EP on Vogue Records (EPV 1022), a UK pressing of material recorded with Gillespie's big band during his peak bebop years of the late 1940s. The four cuts -- "This Is The Way", "Always", "Mon Homme", and "Moon Nocturne" -- showcase the orchestra format Gillespie championed alongside his small-group work of the same period.
