Product Review:
Nobukazu Takemura and Kool Jazz Productions' Hoping For The Sun -- the Japanese electronic musician in a jazz crossover context, blending club electronics with jazz instrumentation. Scarce outside Japan.

Nobukazu Takemura's UK debut release, this 1992 12" on Global Dept Records (GDR 001) sits at the intersection of acid jazz and early downtempo electronics. Produced by Takemura alongside Kool Jazz Productions, it features four cuts including two mixes of the title track and "Science Fiction," a Japanese-language rap. A rare first and only pressing on an obscure London imprint.

  • pro-cleaned

  • with a new inner sleeve

  • and a new outer sleeve

Expert, honest grading

Used records and CDs are graded when we catalogue them for sale and again before they are sent out. So they should reach you in the condition you expect.

Every used record and CD pro-cleaned

We clean our used vinyl records using a VPI vacuum cleaner. More expensive records are also cleaned ultrasonically. CDs are cleaned gently by hand.

Re-sleeving

We place each used record in a brand new paper or anti-static audiophile inner sleeve. We then place the record and sleeve (separately) into a brand new outer sleeve. Ready to be enjoyed!
