From a beautifully preserved collection. Sleeve tear (minor). Slight age discolouration to the rear sleeve. A majority of records in this collection are in EX to NM condition. We have graded them conservatively here.

Don Ewell was a Baltimore-born jazz pianist known for his work alongside Muggsy Spanier and Kid Ory in the traditional jazz revival. This US EP on Good Time Jazz -- catalogue EP 1004 -- collects four solo piano performances including "Muskrat Ramble," a New Orleans standard associated with Kid Ory, and "Wild Man Blues," co-written by Louis Armstrong and Jelly Roll Morton.
