Playtime is the debut album by Don Rendell Jazz Six, recorded in London in March 1958 and released on Decca (LK 4265) -- an original UK first pressing in mono. Rendell leads a sextet through a mix of originals and standards including Rodgers and Hart's This Can't Be Love and The Lady Is A Tramp, alongside Lester Young's Tickletoe and Billy Strayhorn's Johnny Come Lately.
