Best Dressed Chicken In Town is Dr. Alimantado's debut album, originally released in 1978 on Greensleeves (GREW1) -- their first ever release. This 2001 remastered CD reissue collects Winston Thompson's self-produced cuts recorded across King Tubby's, Black Ark, Channel One, and Randy's Studios. The title track was later covered by the Clash, bringing Alimantado wider attention.
