Dr. John's Gumbo is the fifth album by New Orleans pianist Mac Rebennack, released in 1972 on ATCO Records and produced by Harold Battiste and Jerry Wexler. A set of New Orleans R&B covers, it includes "Iko Iko", "Big Chief", Professor Longhair's "Tipitina", and a Huey Smith medley. The SP-suffix matrix dates this to an original US pressing.
