Zu Zu Man is a 1973 US compilation on Trip Records (Springboard International), drawing early Dr. John material into one set. The New Orleans pianist and singer -- born Mac Rebennack -- built his reputation on the bayou funk and R&B sounds heard here, including two versions each of "Trader John" and the title track, plus "Xmas in New Orleans" in both vocal and instrumental form.
