"Reminiscing In Tempo" was recorded by Duke Ellington in September 1935 following the death of his mother, and originally issued across four 78rpm sides. This Columbia EP (catalogue B-2019) collects two of those parts on a 45RPM 7", likely from the early 1950s US reissue programme. One of Ellington's most personal extended compositions, running over twelve minutes in full.
