Product Review:
US Original 1963. Top copy! Includes OIS.

Recorded at Van Gelder Studio in 1962 and released on Impulse! AS-30, this meeting between Duke Ellington and John Coltrane was produced by Bob Thiele. This is a later ABC-Paramount repress, identifiable by the suffixed catalogue number and Bell Sound runout etchings. Highlights include "In A Sentimental Mood" and Coltrane's own "Take The Coltrane," with rhythm sections from both camps recording separately.

What's in the box?

  • Your tunes

  • pro-cleaned

  • with a new inner sleeve

  • and a new outer sleeve

Expert, honest grading

Used records and CDs are graded when we catalogue them for sale and again before they are sent out. So they should reach you in the condition you expect.

Every used record and CD pro-cleaned

We clean our used vinyl records using a VPI vacuum cleaner. More expensive records are also cleaned ultrasonically. CDs are cleaned gently by hand.

Re-sleeving

We place each used record in a brand new paper or anti-static audiophile inner sleeve. We then place the record and sleeve (separately) into a brand new outer sleeve. Ready to be enjoyed!
