Earl Bostic was an alto saxophonist whose hit recording of "Flamingo" reached the US R&B chart in 1951. This UK Vogue Productions 7" single pairs it with "Sleep" on the flip. Pressed with a tri centre, this is an early UK singles pressing from the Vogue catalogue -- a format detail that places it firmly in the 1950s.
