Earl Bostic was an alto saxophonist whose R&B-inflected jazz style made him one of the most commercially successful instrumentalists of the early 1950s. This UK Vogue Productions 7" pairs "Moonglow" -- the 1934 standard later used in the *Picnic* soundtrack -- with Fats Waller's "Ain't Misbehavin'". Both were Bostic originals on King Records in the US, pressed here for the British market.
