Down To Earth is Eddie Floyd's fifth studio album, released in 1971 on Stax (STS-2041), produced and arranged by Floyd alongside guitarist Steve Cropper. This is an original US pressing from the Columbia Records plant in Terre Haute, identifiable by the "T 1" runout etch. The set includes covers of Curtis Mayfield's "People Get Ready" and the Flamingos' "I Only Have Eyes For You."
