Eddie "Lockjaw" Davis and organist Shirley Scott recorded this material across five New York sessions between February 1956 and June 1957. Released on Bethlehem (BCP 6035), this 1978 compilation draws from their early collaboration before Scott became a Blue Note name. Standards like "Satin Doll" and "All The Things You Are" sit alongside Davis originals including the title track and "Scotty Boo".
