Cañonazo is the 1964 debut album from Fania Records, recorded by bandleader Johnny Pacheco featuring vocalist Pete Rodriguez. It was the first release on the label Pacheco co-founded with Jerry Masucci, launching what became the defining New York salsa imprint. This is a 2024 remastered reissue on Craft Recordings Latino. The title track and "Fania" are standouts.
