Product Review:
From the Maxi Jazz Collection. BPM stickers on sleeve; edge wear to sleeve. EPMD's 1988 debut - one of the greatest hip-hop albums ever made.

Debut album from Long Island duo Erick Sermon and Parrish Smith, released 1988 on Fresh Records. Built almost entirely on looped samples -- notably Eric Clapton's "I Shot The Sheriff" on the title track and Kool & The Gang on "You Gots To Chill" -- Strictly Business established EPMD's slow-rolling, bass-heavy approach. Original US pressing on Fresh Records (LPRE-82006).

What's in the box?

  • Your tunes

  • pro-cleaned

  • with a new inner sleeve

  • and a new outer sleeve

Expert, honest grading

Used records and CDs are graded when we catalogue them for sale and again before they are sent out. So they should reach you in the condition you expect.

Every used record and CD pro-cleaned

We clean our used vinyl records using a VPI vacuum cleaner. More expensive records are also cleaned ultrasonically. CDs are cleaned gently by hand.

Re-sleeving

We place each used record in a brand new paper or anti-static audiophile inner sleeve. We then place the record and sleeve (separately) into a brand new outer sleeve. Ready to be enjoyed!
