Ernie K-Doe's "Mother-in-Law", written and produced by Allen Toussaint, hit #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1961 -- the only chart-topper of K-Doe's career. Originally on Minit Records out of New Orleans, this is the original 1961 UK pressing on London American (45-HLU 9330). The B-side is "Wanted $10,000.00 Reward", also Toussaint-penned.
