Eugene McDaniels was a Nebraska-born singer who scored US hits in the early 1960s with "A Hundred Pounds Of Clay" and "Tower Of Strength" on Liberty Records before later recording the cult funk LP Headless Heroes of the Apocalypse. This 1998 BGO remaster compiles both early albums across 24 tracks, covering his polished pop-soul recordings from that period.
