Fleetwood Mac's "Albatross" hit number one in the UK in January 1969 on Blue Horizon, making it one of the few instrumentals to top the British charts. This is a 1972 CBS reissue on dark orange label as part of the Hall of Fame Hits series, with a knock-out centre. The B-side pairs it with "Need Your Love So Bad," a Little Willie John cover featuring Peter Green's lead vocal.
