Recorded in Como, Mississippi on 13 February 1964 with a single condenser microphone, Delta Blues was released on Fontana in 1965 -- one of the earliest UK issues of McDowell's work. Captured by researcher Alan Lomax, the session documents raw slide guitar and field recordings. The Rolling Stones later covered "Shake 'Em On Down" era material, and the Stones covered his "You Gotta Move" separately.
