Freddie Hubbard's debut album as leader, recorded at Van Gelder Studio in June 1960 with a quintet including Tina Brooks and McCoy Tyner. Originally released on Blue Note that year, this 2002 EU remaster adds two alternate takes not on the original LP. Produced by Alfred Lion, reissue produced by Michael Cuscuna. Transfers made at 24-bit from the analog tapes.
