Freddie Hubbard's The Body & The Soul was recorded across three 1963 sessions at Van Gelder Studio and Capitol Studios, with arrangements by Wayne Shorter for big band and string orchestra. Produced by Bob Thiele for Impulse!, it features Hubbard's trumpet over standards including "Body And Soul" and "I Got It Bad". This is a 1996 European remastered reissue, produced for reissue by Michael Cuscuna.
