Product Review:
Rare record but this copy has issues. Side 1 2 feelable marks cause clicking through tracks 1 & 2. Side 2 a ring of groovewear causes a skip of a few grooves. Writing on label, Edge and spine wear. Sticker removal mark front sleeve.

Showcase is a 1981 roots reggae LP by Freddie McGregor, released on Jamaica's Sonic Sounds label and co-produced with Winston 'Niney' Holness. The format pairs vocal cuts with their dub versions across both sides, featuring "The Overseer" and "Chant It Down" alongside their instrumental counterparts. McGregor wrote all material himself, making this an early showcase of his dual role as singer and songwriter.

Expert, honest grading

Used records and CDs are graded when we catalogue them for sale and again before they are sent out. So they should reach you in the condition you expect.

Every used record and CD pro-cleaned

We clean our used vinyl records using a VPI vacuum cleaner. More expensive records are also cleaned ultrasonically. CDs are cleaned gently by hand.

Re-sleeving

We place each used record in a brand new paper or anti-static audiophile inner sleeve. We then place the record and sleeve (separately) into a brand new outer sleeve. Ready to be enjoyed!
