Product Review:
Japanese Pressing. Superb! No Obi

Altissimo brings together four alto saxophonists -- Gary Bartz, Lee Konitz, Charlie Mariano, and Jackie McLean -- recorded in a single session at Rosenberg Studio, Copenhagen, July 1973. Produced by jazz critic and broadcaster Joachim Ernst Berendt, it was released on Philips Japan (RJ-5102). A rare meeting of four distinct voices across seven tracks, including the nine-minute "Mode For Jay Mac."

What's in the box?

  • Your tunes

  • pro-cleaned

  • with a new inner sleeve

  • and a new outer sleeve

Expert, honest grading

Used records and CDs are graded when we catalogue them for sale and again before they are sent out. So they should reach you in the condition you expect.

Every used record and CD pro-cleaned

We clean our used vinyl records using a VPI vacuum cleaner. More expensive records are also cleaned ultrasonically. CDs are cleaned gently by hand.

Re-sleeving

We place each used record in a brand new paper or anti-static audiophile inner sleeve. We then place the record and sleeve (separately) into a brand new outer sleeve. Ready to be enjoyed!
