Gary McFarland's Profiles was recorded live on 6 February 1966 at Lincoln Center's Philharmonic Hall, released on Impulse! (A-9112) in mono. McFarland leads on vibraphone and conducts, with Bob Thiele producing. The set spans post-bop originals across two sides, including the three-part suite "Winter Colors" and the 12-minute "Bygones & Boogie." An original US mono pressing.
