Super copy! From the record collection of the late, great Maxi Jazz.

Recorded at Van Gelder Studios in February 1971 and originally released as CTI 6009, this is a 1979 reissue on CTI 8007. Benson leads through a hard bop and soul-jazz set produced by Creed Taylor, opening with a 9-minute read of Miles Davis's "So What." Pressed at Columbia's Pitman plant, identifiable by the "P" stamp in the runouts.
