Released in 1957 on RCA (EPA-888), this German-pressed EP finds George Williams conducting a four-track salute to big band leader Jimmie Lunceford. Lunceford's orchestra defined the swinging dance-band sound of the 1930s, and tracks like "For Dancers Only" and "Lunceford Special" were among his best-known arrangements. A neat period tribute on 45.
