Recorded over four days in December 1962 at Webster Hall, New York City, Gerry Mulligan '63 captures the Concert Jazz Band at full strength. Released on Verve in the UK (SVLP 9037), it features Mulligan on baritone sax throughout, with rare clarinet appearances on Big City Blues and Pretty Little Gypsy -- an unusual choice that distinguishes this set from his more typical output.
