The Gibson Brothers were a Martinique-born group based in Paris who scored a major disco hit with "Cuba" in 1978, produced by Daniel Vangarde and Jean Kluger. This is the UK Island Records 12" pressing (12WIP 6561), running the long version of "Cuba" at 7:45 alongside the salsa-flavoured B-side "Better Do It Salsa." Vangarde, father of Thomas Bangalter of Daft Punk, produced the original via Zagora Productions.
