Gil Scott-Heron's second studio album, recorded in March 1972 and released on Bob Thiele's Flying Dutchman label. Arranged by Horace Ott, with Brian Jackson on electric piano, the album addresses urban poverty, police brutality, and political conspiracy -- "No Knock" targets Nixon-era no-knock search laws directly. This is a c.1998 US reissue on the original Flying Dutchman catalogue number.
