Moving Target is Gil Scott-Heron's 1982 album on Arista, co-produced with Malcolm Cecil. This is a German Arista repress (cat. 204 921), distributed via Ariola/RCA. The album finds Scott-Heron drawing on funk, reggae, and spoken word, with the sprawling nine-minute "Black History / The World" closing side B. "Fast Lane" and "Washington D.C." are among his sharper political funk cuts from this period.
