The Future is the second studio album by Guy, released in 1990 on MCA Records. Produced by Teddy Riley, it arrived at the peak of his New Jack Swing influence and features "Let's Chill" and "Teddy's Jam 2". The German CD pressing includes a bonus remix of "Wanna Get With U" running over eight minutes, listed on the sleeve as the Club Version.
