Marching In The Street is the debut solo album by LA session drummer Harvey Mason, released in 1975 on Arista Records. Recorded at Kendun Recorders in Burbank, it features trumpeter Blue Mitchell on loan from RCA. The title track became a funk-fusion staple, and the set showcases Mason's rhythmic range across jazz-funk grooves and mellower cuts like Ballad For Heather.
