Haywoode was a British singer signed to CBS in the mid-80s. "Getting Closer" was produced by PWL -- Pete Waterman's production house before the Stock Aitken Waterman era peaked -- and recorded at PWL Studios in Borough. This 1985 UK 12" pressed on red labels includes the extended version, instrumental, and B-side "My Kind Of Hero."
