Lite Me Up is a funk and soul album by Herbie Hancock, released in 1982 on Columbia Records (FC 37928). Produced by Hancock himself, it finds the jazz pianist deep in pop-funk territory, featuring the vocoder-laced title track and the buoyant "Gettin' To The Good Part." Released the same year as his landmark Vocoder experiments, this US original pressing predates his commercial breakthrough with Future Shock.
